Meetup Sponsorships
Let Us Sponsor Your Meetup
When organizing a local meetup, the costs add up: venue, food, WiFi. We can help cover them and support your work.
Why We Do This
We believe teams that build communities deserve support. Sponsoring local meetups is how we align our business with that belief. Our core values include fair, transparent treatment of developers. Supporting the people who organize the spaces where developers gather feels like the right way to live that.
Plus, frankly, we'd rather introduce ourselves to developers through trusted peers than through ads.
How It Works
Approved sponsorships get up to $200, based on your meetup's size and needs. No long forms to complete. Use it however you need it: pizza, venue fees, livestream equipment, speaker honorariums. Whatever makes your event run.
Attendees get 14 days free on Stadia Maps Professional. It's a real, no-strings trial. If they find value, they stick around. If they don't, that's fine too.
Who Can Apply
- You're a paying Stadia Maps customer
- You're organizing or sponsoring a local meetup (in-person or hybrid) focused on location technology, GIS, or a related topic
- You're willing to mention Stadia Maps to attendees
- Limit one per customer per calendar year
What We're Looking For
When you submit a request, tell us:
- Meetup details: Name, topic, location, expected number of attendees, date
- Your pitch: How you'll introduce Stadia Maps to the group (this doesn't have to be a technical deep-dive, just honest context about what we do)
We'll review and get back to you within 5 business days. Approval depends on meetup size, relevance to the developer community, and timing relative to other requests.
Submit Your Request
Email support@stadiamaps.com with:
- Subject line: "Meetup Sponsorship Request"
- Include the details above, and we'll take it from there.
